The explanation first, then the terms the video never defined. Whatever is still unclear, you ask right under it. The answer becomes part of the document instead of a chat you will never find again.

The first time, iOS puts Hedian at the far end of the app row. Tap More, then Edit, then the plus sign next to Hedian, and it stays first from then on. Pasting always works too.
The questions people ask first.
Is this a summary?
No. A summary shortens the video. An explanation fills in what the video skipped: what the terms mean, why the steps come in that order, and the conditions it never mentioned.
How long does it take?
Mostly under a minute, occasionally a little longer. You can leave the screen while you wait. The work continues, and the thread is there when you return.
What if the video says something wrong?
The claim isn't deleted. It lands in a “Worth checking” card, marked as disputed, oversimplified, outdated or unverified, with a short reason underneath. A button beside it takes you to a search so you can look for yourself. What came from the video and what Hedian added are always visually separate.
Are the links I send stored?
The video is processed to build the thread, then the audio and image copies are deleted. Your library keeps only the text and the original link. Nothing you send is used to train models.
Do I need an account?
Yes, but it takes one tap. Sign in with Apple or Google and you're in. No password, no form. Email and password work too. The account is what keeps your threads on every phone you sign in from, and what lets you delete everything at once.
Can I change the language or level later?
Yes, in Settings. The change applies to new threads; existing ones stay in the language and level they were written in. Paste the same video again and you get a fresh thread in the new language, and the old one stays.
Scrolling through social media, I keep running into people explaining things: a new framework, a pricing trick, a design pattern with a name I had never heard. I would watch, feel a small click of recognition, and keep scrolling. Later I could not tell you what it was exactly, whether it touched anything I was working on, or whether I had understood it at all.
Hedian began as a fix for that gap. Send the video, get the explanation, ask the question that was actually bothering me, and keep the answer somewhere I would find it again. The first user was me. Half of this app was built with the other half open on my phone: a term I did not know in one thread, a claim I wanted checked in another, a question asked at midnight and answered before I closed the laptop.
